Ethics, Larimar and Karian

Karian Jewellery use freely traded Larimar; we operate a strict policy on this with our suppliers. We spend time and care ensuring that our suppliers share and uphold our views of respect and concern for Human Rights and fairly traded goods in a free and open market.
We visit the mines where our Larimar is mined, we speak to the Co-operative of miners who use traditional local mining techniques and we also work closely with the artisans who design and produce Karian Larimar Jewellery. We make every effort possible to ensure our Ethics are upheld during the process of creating our Jewellery.
No child labour, forced labour or exploitative practices are used in the mining or production of Karian Larimar Jewellery.
